Universal Pictures has launched the official website for the anticipated historical thriller, The Golden Age. At the site, you can explore such features as the interactive timeline, artifacts (wallpapers and buddy icons), renderings (image gallery), the saga to learn more about the story, visuals (trailers and clips), and invitations to court (e-cards), with more coming soon. It opens October 12th.

They showed an exclusive feature on The Golden Age last friday, and in that while it was mostly about the lovely Cate Blanchett, there was a brief new scene shown which featured Abbie Cornish and Clive Owen. I uploaded the clip to the video vault and added a few captures to the gallery.

This is just a brief note to let you guys know you can stream the majority of the Golden Age Toronto press confrence on your computer over at the official TIFF website. Just select Elizabeth: The Golden Age and the trailer will begin playing, and after you’ll be treated to the press conference!

As mentioned earlier, Elizabeth: The Golden Age had it’s world premiere at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival and I have uploaded the first photos of the absolutely radiant Abbie Cornish for you viewing pleasure. We’ll have many more photos tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Ms. Cornish along with The Golden Age family are currently in Toronto, Canada for the film’s promotion at the Toronto International Film Festival. Earlier today was the press conference and a portrait session. Everyone is looking fabulous, and especially Miss Abbie. She looks breathtaking in a blue top and black pants outfit, this is definitely going to go down as one of my personal favorite Abbie Cornish looks! Later tonight is the premiere so stay tuned for premiere photos as well!
